My promise and commitment
It appears that most of today’s events in life have less effect on us than those same events did 20 years ago. I would argue that now, the things that keep us up at night, make us sad, or rock our world in a negative way have to do with another individual’s choices. One would think that at this point in life, another’s choice should not affect us. Unfortunately, it does, only because we care about those individuals. We both have them.
The most important distinction here is that this has nothing to do with YOU and ME or put anything between YOU and ME unless we let it. We are in this together!
A few months back, you made it clear that you wanted to get married. Your words caught me off guard, to say the least. Until I heard those words from you, I never thought I would consider getting married again.
We are amazing together. You are my trusted confidant and partner in life. I want to spend the rest of my life making you happy. I am more sure of this with every passing day. This ring symbolizes my promise and commitment to you!
