Beautiful inside and out
Our second Valentine’s Day—and almost a year and a half together, with 60% of that time during a pandemic—has truly been amazing. I never get tired of telling you what an amazing woman and mother you are, and I know you don’t get tired of hearing it. It made me so happy seeing you enjoy your—our—Christmas, not just together, but relaxed and happy inside.
The smile on your face and in your heart when Caitlin reaches out to you is priceless, and the way you learned to handle the situation is so healthy for both of you. Ryan, your baby, is all grown up and has been living in Japan for four months now. I am proud of how you support him and his decisions. I know this is terribly hard for you, but it is just another selfless act by the woman I love. The pandemic may try to rob all three of you of the celebration you deserve when it comes to their graduation, but it cannot take away the foundation and opportunities you paved to help ensure their success.
